ITAA is more than a sponsor—we are helping young players across Swansea experience the power of teamwork, sport, and personal growth through our support of the Swansea Schools Rugby Under 11s squad for the 2024/2025 season.
The SSRU U11s represent some of the brightest young rugby talent from primary schools across the Swansea area. Under the guidance of an experienced coaching team and the leadership of Captain Tobie Wilcox, the squad has had an outstanding season—culminating in their qualification for the DC Thomas Plate Final at Rodney Parade in May.
James Cochlin, CEO of ITAA and proud parent of one of the players, shared his thoughts on the sponsorship:
“At ITAA, we believe in backing ambition—whether that’s in the boardroom or on the pitch. Supporting the SSRU U11s isn’t just about logos on shirts; it’s about giving young players the opportunity to grow, develop, and enjoy the sport we all love. As a parent, it’s been incredible to watch the team come together and achieve so much this year. We’re delighted to play a small part in that journey.”
The team’s head coach, Rhidian Davies, also reflected on the impact of this support:
“This squad brings together children from schools across the Swansea district, giving them a unique opportunity to represent their community through rugby. Thanks to ITAA’s sponsorship, we’ve been able to make this experience accessible and memorable—on and off the pitch. It’s helped us create a season these kids will never forget, and it’s support like this that keeps grassroots rugby thriving. We’re truly grateful.”
At ITAA, we’re passionate about investing in potential, fostering teamwork, and building strong foundations—values that align perfectly with youth rugby. We’re proud to be associated with a team that represents dedication, determination, and community spirit.
Best of luck to the team in the DC Thomas Plate Final—we’ll be cheering you on all the way!
